Since so many people have been E-mailing me for the ResEdit hack I noted in one of the characters I've uploaded, I've decided to upload how to do it.
Someone uploaded this hack to me, and I have their name written down somewhere, but I am sorry that I don't remember it and can't give credit where it truly belongs.
Requirements: You must have a master menu and some knowledge of ResEdit.
***Before I start***
I'm sorry to say I havn't played Taskmaker in quite awhile and I am not sure this trick will work. Make a copy of BOTH characters before you do this, and E-mail me if it doesn't work.
First of all, make copies of the characters you will need: a character with the master menu and the character you would like to edit (preferably a new one). Then open the character with the master menu and go to Skysail (or any other city, I don't know about Castle hall though.) and cast the other spell 'RESTART PLACE'. Using the menus, make any changes you want to the city, such as adding in items, deleting the city and making a new one (that will take an E-X-T-R-E-M-E-L-Y long time and a hell of a lot of patience). Save the changes you made.
Open both characters in ResEdit, and search around (in the CODE part?) for something called 'Worlds'. Open this up, and you will find the names of the different worlds in Taskmaker. Select the world you edited, Copy it, and find that same world in the new character's file and paste it in. There you go.
